Alan K. Farley, beloved son, brother and uncle passed away June 25, 2001 due to complications from liver disease in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Alan was born January 27, 1951 in Salt Lake City, Utah to William Max and Hazel Dudley Farley.  He graduated from South High School in 1969 and honorably served his country in the U.S. Army stationed in Berlin, Germany 1970-1972.  alan was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints.  He was an avid fisherman, hunter and loved riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle  with his brother Steve.  Alan loved his dogs, Spud and Jack.  Alan was preceded in death by his parents.  He is survived by his sisters Linda Ith of Spanish Fork, Marilyn Turnbow of west Yellowstone Montana, brothers William, Steve and David; and many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Saturday June 30, 2001, Redwood Memorial Estates.  The family would like to thank the staff, nurses and doctors at the Veterans Administration Medical Center for their loving care during  Alan's illness.
