Rodger Holmes

Rodger McKay Holmes
1950 - 2014

Rodger McKay Holmes passed away on December 20th, 2014, in Grand Junction.
Rodger was a kind, gentle and caring man who loved his family, his friends, his coffee, and playing guitar and drums in church.
Rodger served honorably in Vietnam from 1970 to 1972. He was an energetic volunteer in the Grand Junction community, helping many fellow veterans as well as non-veterans suffering from addiction or who had otherwise fallen on hard times. He was a friend and mentor to many; he went before his time; we miss him terribly.
Rodger is survived by his son, John Holmes; his daughter-in-law, Patricia Holmes; three step-children, Bree VanWagenen, Jory (Candice) VanWagenen, and Tyson (Spencer) Boyer; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
