Richard Lobato

                                 1950-2001                                   

Richard "Rick" Lobato, our beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend went home Dec 13, 2001 surrounded by his family.  Born September 27, 1950 in East Carbon City, Utah.  Graduated from South High School in 1969.  Served in the U.S. Army serving in Vietnam 1970-1971.

Married Susan Jones, August 15, 1970 Salt Lake City, Utah.  Retired contractor. He is survived by his wife Susan, son Brandon Richard Lobato (Melanie), daughter Sundina R. Lobato - Paiz (Andrew), grandchildren, Kennedy R. Lobato,  Keeley C. Paiz, and Conner B. Lobato.  brothers, David E.  Dale S,  Charles L.  Lobato.  He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends; mother in law Rose R. Jones; special friends John C. Furness, Chris Padilla, and cat Izzy. His giving nature and generosity were his greatest gifts.

The family would like to thank the ICU staff at St. Marks hospital and the staff at the Veterans Administration Medical Center for their care and concern.

Services will be held December 17, 2001 at 12 noon at All Saint's Episcopal Church, 1710 South Foothill Drive.  Interment Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.

In Lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or a charity of your choice.
