Marlene was born August 2nd 1951 to loving parents Richard Allen and Evelyn Hartshorn Brown. She was a fun loving, loyal, kind hearted spirit.
Along with her sisters, she had many happy years with her parents growing up in the Glendale area, camping, picnicking, traveling in a station wagon or the back of a pick-up truck, exploring all the wonderful sights that America has to offer. It was a special time as a family.
Graduated from South High School in 1969. Married her High School sweetheart, Robert Lee Joffs (later divorced) One son Robert Lee Joffs II. Married the love of her life Marvin Lee Friedland with whom she had many happy years traveling, skiing, camping, hiking, and fishing with their two boys. Thank you Marvin. Worked in mortgage banking for various company's throughout the valley.
Passed away September 21st, 2014 after a short illness.
Preceded in death by her "Daddy", special friend Valerie Jardine, her dogs Frieda, Duke and Oxen.
Survived by her "Momma", son Robert and grandson Liam Richard Joffs, stepson Michael Friedland, sisters MaryLynne May, Beverlee (Mike) Patton, Larraine (Glen) Kittle and their children.
She will be greatly missed. Her motto was "Live, Love Laugh and be Happy".

As per her wishes there will be no formal services.
