Saundra Carlston Anderson

I graduated from the University of Utah in 1975 and worked for a few years in Utah. In 1978, I moved to Lander, Wyoming to work at the Wyoming State Training School. I worked as a Recreation Therapist with the Developmentally Disabled for about 9 years. In 1980, I married Mike Anderson, who had graduated from BYU and moved back home to Wyoming to help his parents. He is a CPA and mainly works in hospital accounting. We adopted Matt in 1987. He was a 3 time All State Musician and wrestled for Lander Valley High School, placing at State 3 years. For 6 years I listened to him sing and watched him wrestle. He is currently attending college off and on (trying to find himself). In 1996, I started working for our local school district in Special Education. I currently work at West Elementary as a Teacher Assistant in Special Ed. My parents have both passed away. I spent alot of time with my Mom in Salt Lake before she died. I still own her house and am trying to figure out what to do with it. I've served on our School Board and City Council. I've worked with Cub Scouts and Special Olympics. My most recent joy was going to the Sugar Bowl and watching the Utes beat Alabama.
My 2 brothers, Terry and Mike still live in Salt Lake. My future goals are retirement and being a Grandma. I'm still proud that I graduated from South High.
