JAMES CATMULL
OCTOBER 16, 1950 -MARCH 11, 2015
Sadly I must inform our classmates that on the evening of March 11, 2015, at the
Huntsman Cancer Institute my brother James Edwin Catmull,
born October 16, 1950, South High Class of 1969,
passed away from conditions related to colorectal cancer.
Following cremation, and at a time to be announced later,
his cremains will be interred in the grave of our parents.

Though I didn't get to know Jim the way I knew Don, I very much valued Jim's friendship. I feel that if anyone reads this post they should be aware that Sam Woffinden spent some quality time with Jim shortly before Jim passed away. Like Sam, I believe that Jim spent some lonely time trying to simply make it in the world in his last days. Thanks to Sam and Don, it was nice to know that Jim did not leave this world competely alone and without having someone that showed they cared for him. -- Wilf Mueller
P.S. I just learned that Jim had also been visited by our good friend, Dale Barker, who had spent some quality time with him. It does bring me a tremendous amount of joy to know that Jim was able to spend time with friends before his passing.
