Dale Stuart Pugmire, age 66, was born May 1, 1951 to Weldon and Evelyn Pugmire in Salt Lake City, Utah.  He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Russell and Gene, and sister Joyce. He is survived by his son Tyler and his wife Laurie and their children, Samantha, Jordan, and Kaitlyn; his daughter Ashley and her husband Mike and their children, Radley and Stori.

He worked as a mechanic and service manager in the auto industry for many years.  He dabbled in real estate and building maintenance. He was a jack of all trades – he could build or fix damn near anything.

In his early 50’s, he went skydiving and found that he really enjoyed it and always talked about wanting to do it again. One of things he was most passionate about in life was riding and restoring vintage Vespa scooters with his son.  They spent many weekends together rebuilding a 1956 Vespa Fenderlight and a 1979 Vespa P125X.

Dale was a quirky man who didn’t like to conform to the norm.  He was very private person, however, he always wanted to know exactly was what going on with everyone else (including how much money they spent).  He didn’t like being told what to do or when to do it but he was more than happy to provide his opinion on how you should do things.  He was never late, he always arrived precisely when he meant to.

Dale’s unique personality will be missed by all who knew him.

Memorial service will be held at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 E Dimple Dell Rd (10600 S), Sandy, Utah on May 23 at 7 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, keep your money in the bank.  Dale would have wanted it that way.
