James A. Dimmick

1951-2013

 

James passed away unexpectedly on November 22, 2013.  He was born February 13, 1951 in Salt Lake City, Utah.  He was born to Carl and Shirley Dimmick.  Jim graduated from South High School in 1969 and soon after married Linda Jetton on June 28, 1969.  He worked for Ryder Logistics (Coca Cola) for 31 years. Jim enjoyed trap shooting with the Granger Eagles, fishing, camping with family, friends and his Harley.

Jim is survived by his forever sweetheart Linda; daughter Carla (Wayne) Draper: son, James, Jr. (Barbara) Dimmick; 7 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren; brother Ron (Paula)  Dimmick; sister Kathy Dimmick, brother in law, John Jetton and many aunts, uncles, neices and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, nephew and great niece.

A viewing will be Monday November 25, 2013, 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm and again one hour prior to services at Redwood Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah.  funeral Services will be Tuesday November 26, 2013, 2:00 pm at Redwood Mortuary.  Internment to follow the services at Redwood Memorial Park
